Press Release: Shubhra Jha Joins Standard Real Estate Investments Executive Team as Principal, Heading Investment Strategy and Research
Minority-Owned Real Estate Private Equity Firm Builds Multidisciplinary Senior Leadership Team with Diverse Backgrounds and Skill Sets to Build National Institutional Investment Platform
Standard Real Estate Investments, LP (Standard), a minority-owned real estate private equity firm focused on providing joint venture equity to developers, today announced Shubhra Jha has joined the firm as a Principal, heading investment strategy and research for the firm. She will work closely with the firm’s CEO and President, real estate investment veterans Robert Jue and Jerome Nichols and sit on the firm’s Investment Committee.
“We are looking to build a disciplined, institutional-class national investing platform, and Shubhra’s understanding of macroeconomic events impacting real estate performance combined with a detailed knowledge of our target markets, provides strong support for our plans,” said Mr. Jue. “Shubhra is an exceptional leader and friend. Prior to joining Standard, Ms. Jha spent over 17 years at CBRE Global Investors a Senior Director and Americas Investment Research Team Leader. In this role, she covered all major property types in 60 major North American MSAs and supported underwriting efforts for all real estate transactions. Before her tenure with CBRE Global Investors, she served as a senior associate at RCLCO, a Los Angeles-based consulting services firm for master-planned communities. Ms. Jha is actively involved in National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) and Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). She received an MPL/MRED from the University of Southern California and a B.Arch. degree from the School of Planning and Architecture in India.
